Wine and Tapas at Hotel Hostal Sport
The Hotel Hostal Sport of Falset has launched a new gastronomic service. Every Thursday and Friday of the year, from 19 to 21h, we offer tapas and wine by the glass in the bar of the hotel. The idea is that the customers of the hotel can make an informal dinner with traditional tapas and wines from DO. Montsant and DOQ. Priorat.
In the same way that the fork breakfast is a gastronomic reference for the establishment, we have considered that we must also strengthen the night period with suggestive gastronomic proposals that may open the establishment to new audiences, for example, young people in the region. Original tapas that can be accompanied by wines from Priorat. For the Hostal Sport, it’s a way of vindicating the concept of “drunch” in the Priorat region.
The repertoire of tapas include: patatas bravas baked with chilli powder, beef heart tomato seasoned with sherry vinegar, charcoal broiled craftswomen onion and Andalusian calamari with pistachios mayonnaise. There are also tables of artisan cheeses and nuts and carquiñolis with lollipops of chocolate. The philosophy is the same as the restaurant: Catalan cuisine with a touch of innovation, highlighting flavours and aromas of Priorat. The proposal includes dishes to share.
